Schloss Gerzen in Gerzen

Date for the wedding made. Unfortunately, there was a lot of activity in the restaurant at that time, so we were ignored ... When we asked, we got "immediately" - after another 10 minutes of waiting we drove again. Bad service!

Food very good. Overnight because it was just a garden party, a bit too loud and hot. Ventilation was not possible due to the volume.

The restaurant is absolutely great. The ambience is very nice. You just feel comfortable.

We were wedding guests at Gerzen Castle. We had some extra requests that were implemented without any problems (in relation to the rooms). In addition, all employees were always very friendly and courteous! The food and drinks were great! Thank you for the lovely stay! :-)

A pea puree does not really fit on a fish plate, even if it does not taste so bad on its own. The lumberjack steak must be discouraged (good potatoes, but the meat was fat and sinewy). The onion roast is much better.

Everything fitted! Food great, nice beer garden and very nice staff. We were there on Tuesday and there was pizza day, since we got the 1st drink for free! Super action. recommendable

We were eating in the beer garden, the food and drinks, everything great! nice family atmosphere. The service is understaffed or needs to be improved beyond a certain number of tables and people. But otherwise recommended, therefore only a star deduction.

3 months ago was a change of operator! We felt in the hotel, in the lavishly restored rooms, very comfortable. The historic building, surrounded by pure nature, invites you to relax. The restaurant and beer garden serve delicious food with a perfect service. We'll be back, we felt comfortable here!

After registry office training in the castle eaten. Friendly service. Food excellent no long wait. Everything to satisfaction.

The hotel is really appealing with its theme rooms and historic setting. The room was good, the staff friendly and the food tasty. The small park is just as nice.

The Ochsenbackerl are really a dream at Schloss Gerzen! I have been here three times and tasted delicious on every visit. Also the other side dishes I really liked, everything impeccable.

We have visited Schloss Gerzen over the years when visiting friends who live nearby. During our visit in January of this year we very much enjoyed our meal, the ambiance and a lovely tour of the Schloss. We returned with friends in September hoping to share the same wonderful experience, however, we were very disappointed. The service was was fine. Unfortunately, the menu changed and perhaps the kitchen staff also changed. No longer serving traditional Bavarian food, the kitchen struggled to serve well prepared Italian food. The pizza, ordered by three of the six in our group, was burnt and tasteless. I had the caprese salad which was flavorless and lacked freshness. There was one highlight, a few of us had the seasonal Kürbis Creme Suppe. It was delicious! Though I cannot recommend the restaurant at Schloss Gerzen at this time, I will hope for more changes and try again during my next visit to Germany.
